Dr. Ashford earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Miami and advanced Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Florida.
Dr. Ashford is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, reflecting the highest level of clinical expertise in his field. He specializes in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic pain through advanced, evidence-based interventional therapies.
Dr. James Ashford was awarded the Jackson Memorial Award for achieving the highest score in the nation on his Anesthesiology board certification examinations.
